Going to see The Hunger Games for the 2nd time this week

Okay WOW! i haven’t been on this in a while which is really quite lame on my behalf. Oh well.
While I’m sure the ins and outs of my day to day life means absolutely nothing to anyone i just wanted to put my new year in writing if only to remind myself how happy i am right now.
Since my last post it has changed years and for the first time in a long time i feel like everything about this year so far is perfect, absolutely amazing.
I’ve been canoeing a few times with friends which always turns into a game of who can do the coolest thing with out capsizing the canoe . . which always leads to others giving into the urge to capsize ahh i love it i cant explain those days properly. Picture this, theres a warm sun on your back fresh water all around, great company, fellow canoe-ers out on the water saying hey as they pass by and a great picnic when everyones too exhausted to swim or paddle anymore. Or better yet picnics onnn the lake in the canoe. Ah so much fun.
I’ve had a few sleepovers which is very highschool i know but so much fun!
I’ve been op shopping and while I’ve bought stacks and stacks of clothes ive spent hardly anything which is always a bonus.
I’ve house sat with my friend which ultimately turned into 2 weeks of movies, wii, cooking and swimming. I woke one morning with a feeling of adventure so i went on a MASSSSSSIIVEEEE bike ride which hurt like shit by the end (in the ahh i feel so alive way so it’s all good)
And most recently shindigs with my best friends. AH words cannot explain how much i love them. sadly we sort of split up as a few of us moved but when we all get back together we all just click back to being so so easy and comfortable together. I love it. I love them.
As if that wasn’t enough for a kicker of a year I’m going to the coast today with 2 of my best friends which makes me so so so so happy. Its become a tradition now, we go before we have to worry about school or work or anything. Its perfect, we swim at the beach which is a 3 min walk from our house and then shop at the shops a short drive from us and catch up and read magazines and books and tan and sleep and cook and watch movies and AH everything is just so perfect.
AAANND to finish this great holiday off I’m going to New Zealand with my best friend for 2 weeks which should be ammaazinngg. We’ve planned a white water rafting day which will be incredibly fun and a LOTR tour which as nerdy as it sounds should be interesting. Plus NZ accents are great fun to listen to from an Australian stand point so I’m very very excited.
Ah i love 2011 so far and while I’m sure i’ll look back at this in a month or so when I’m back studying and hate the past me for being so happy right now, life is wonderful!
